Glass-smashing clocks

These ship clocks operate on a battery, usually a normal Penlight (AA). However, we also sell glass striking clocks in Quartz and Mechanical versions . These knock the glasses off the guard, adding one strike every half hour and after 4 hours and 8 strikes it starts again. In this way, sailors in the dark galley used to be able to hear when their shift started again.

The mechanical version of each ship's clock must be wound once a week. These mechanical versions have also been carefully tested and assembled by hand.
