The glossy polyester ship flag cloth is hemmed all around and comes standard with a webbing band with a loop and a line.

The Frisian flag

If you're looking for a beautiful, true-to-life flag of Friesland, you can now easily order it online. This distinctive tricolor has symbolized Frisian identity for centuries. The diagonally striped flag with the seven pompeblêden (pumpkin leaves) only came into use in the last quarter of the 19th century century, its shape was finalised, but the first reference to the current design can already be found in documentation from the year 1085.

The seven pumpkin leaves on the flag of Friesland represent the administrative units that together make up the province of Friesland.

Some sources claim that there were never exactly seven of these units in Friesland; others claim that they were the countries of West-Friesland, Westergo, Oostergo, Hunzingo, Fivelingo, Emsingo, and Jeverland.
