The flag of North Holland is made on sturdy 115 gram gloss polyester ship flag cloth (115 grams/m2) with digital printing.

The glossy polyester ship flag cloth is hemmed all around and comes standard with a webbing band with a loop and a line.

The flag of North Holland

The current flag of North Holland has been the official flag of this province since 1958. This beautiful tricolor bears the colors also found in the coat of arms of North Holland: yellow (gold), red, and blue.

Yellow and red are typical colors in Dutch flags and are therefore also found in the flag of South Holland. Yellow and blue represent the West Frisian identity, which is very much alive in North Holland. Yellow has been given the upper horizontal stripe of the flag because it appears in both the Dutch and West Frisian color palettes.
